The Ghana Football Association is expected to announce Chris Hughton as the next Black Stars head coach in early February according to Hon. Samuel George.
In a conversation on the Joy Breakfast show, the Ningo-Prampram MP revealed that the FA has already appointed him and is just waiting for the Official announcement which will be made soon.
Hughton has served as the technical advisor of the national team and now seeks to take the reins after Otto Addo exited the role in December.
He, together with many other coaches applied for the vacant role but is set to be handed the keys to the team.
Hughton formerly managed Tottenham, Brighton and Newcastle
