GoldBod Jewellery launches e-commerce platforms, markets gold as lucrative investment

GoldBod Jewellery, a subsidiary of the Ghana Gold Board, has launched an e-commerce platform to widen access to its gold products locally and internationally while promoting gold as a smart investment with strong returns.

At the Accra launch, Managing Director Gertrude Emefa Donkor introduced the website as Ghana’s first “24-hour digital gold showroom,” allowing customers anywhere to explore handcrafted jewellery, monitor real-time gold prices, make purchases, and arrange showroom pickups nationwide.

Ms. Donkor emphasized GoldBod’s commitment to converting Ghana’s raw gold into premium finished products, boosting value addition and keeping foreign exchange within the country.

The company’s flagship investment offering, the GoldBod Jewellery Tablet, comes in 1g, 5g, 10g, and 1oz pure 24-karat options, providing a simple way for Ghanaians to build long-term wealth.

Highlighting the artistry behind its products, she noted that every jewellery piece is handcrafted by skilled Ghanaian artisans, showcasing local heritage and craftsmanship.

Looking ahead, GoldBod plans to expand its operations, forge strategic partnerships, and open flagship stores nationwide and beyond, aiming to make Ghana Africa’s foremost jewellery and investment-gold brand.
