The Chairman For Chairman (C4C) campaign Team of the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress NDC (NDC) Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo has rejected claims that Dr. Ofosu-Ampofo is in support of a particular aspirant in the National Women’s wing elections.
A statement signed by the Spokesperson of the C4C Campaign Team Hon. Mavis Ama Frimpong cited by Ahotoronline.com said the National Chairman is principle and by virtue of his National position in the party stays neutral in any leadership contest.
THE STATEMENT READ :
It has come to the attention of the Campaign Team of the National Chairman, Hon. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo that some mischievous persons, in their deceitful attempt to create disaffection for our venerable Chairman, have sought to peddle a blatantly false narrative that he is in support of a particular aspirant in the National Women’s wing contest.
The National Chairman, in principle and by virtue of his National position in the Party stays neutral in any leadership contest.
Accordingly, the Team entreats such rumours to be treated with deserving contempt.
The Chairman, however, advises all aspirants and delegates to conduct themselves with decency, honesty and integrity during this democratic exercise of our great Party by voting for dedicated and hardworking individuals who will contribute to the Party’s Victory in 2024 when our great Party will be resoundingly victorious in the 2024 elections.
