Ghana contingent comprising of players, technical team and management team members departed the country via the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) to Maputo, Mozambique on Thursday evening and are expected to arrive this morning.
The Black Stars feeder team have been in camp for over a month now at the Ghana Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram and is looking poised and ready for the epic clash coming up.
The team tested their strength with a friendly against topflight side Dreams FC and humbled them smoothly with a 2-1 triumph at the Ohene Gyan Stadium and will hope to build on that momentum in their subsequent games.
The first leg is scheduled for Sunday, October 23, 2022, at the Estadio Nacional do Zimpeto in the capital, Maputo.
