Level 400 students protest over grades at UEW

Some level 400 students of the University of Education, Winneba who are clad in red and black attire are demonstrating against school authorities to make changes to some of their grades.

About a fortnight ago, some level 400 students of the school protested against the authorities over what they say is a delebrate attempt not to release their results on the student portal.

Today’s demonstration is not as intense as the earlier one that happened two weeks ago as few affected students are seen protested.

Although students have refused to speak to the media on the issue, Onua News gathers students are protesting because of some changes in their grades for the first semester.

Again, subjects they did not register for the semester have appeared on their portal and have been graded down on it.

They also want the old portal change to the new portal which they are conversant with.

There is also huge Police presence on campus to ensure safety of staff and properties.
