Excavators are not matches box to be kept in somebody’s pocket so stop the blame game and get to the bottom of the theft -Elembelle MP tells police

Report from Ellembelle in the western region has it that, two excavators which were ceased from some illegal miners in the area have gone  missing from the police custody a day after leaving it to their care.

The District Chief  Executive Officer (DCE) for Ellembele,  Kwesi Bonzoe in an interview on Ahotor 92.3, said he is disappointed in the Elemblle Police Command and more so, the misinformation by the Police to the public.

According to him the police have not been helpful since the emergence of this issue

“The only thing the police is doing is shifting blames and that will not help us at all. He said.

Since this issue came we have been calling them but they told us that they needed a right information so they never showed up and this is bad ‘. He added.

He called on the police to stop the blame game and help find the missing excavators.

To him ‘excavators are not matches box to be kept in somebody’s pocket so stop the blame game and get to the bottom of the theft’. He told the Police.
