Ashaiman to the world concert is an event Stonebwoy holds for the residents of Ashaiman every year to entertain his fans and also make his people feel the love he has for them is strong.
Ghanaian dancehall and Ashiaman born-artist, Stonebwoy, has revealed that his concert “Ashaiman to the World” is a charity concert that doesn’t give him any money.
He does Ashiaman to the world every year to entertain his fans and also make his people feel the love he has for them is strong.
“I knew there should be an event that will open the way because Ashaiman is big but we weren’t often getting such events, on that standard, because those times, if we’d go to such events, it’d be FM stations organizing them in Tema.”
He added that “It brings the market to people because people will rent things, some people manage the traffic and parking for tips, it brings business value also, so it’s a thing that trickles down to a lot of people to gain some stuff.”
Speaking about the profits he gets from the concert, he added, “What I get is to sit and watch and be happy and know that I’m representing a community which is part of the legacy that I have to leave.”
“Sincerely, we can’t stop [organizing the concert] because if we’ve been able, by God’s grace, to do it to this extent, we must fight every obstacle that will threaten it”, he added.
For the security side, he assured everyone that the police, the military, and the fire service will come along.
The program comes along every year, it takes place this Saturday, 3rd September 2022 at Saka Saka Park, Ashaiman.
