Management of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union( G.P.R.T.U), Madina branch has expressed their extreme worries over land litigation hindering them from developing the area.
The over half a decade litigation on that piece of land is said to have caused stagnation in the developmental projects which was started couple of months ago.
The Madina Trotro station is among one of the biggest lorry stations in the Greater Accra Metropolis with over five hundred (500) registered vehicles operating from there daily.
However the under developed nature of the station meant that when it rains as well as during windy periods, the rains and dust respectively serious hamper business and create enormous discomfort for commuters.
This has left many questioning the purpose of the daily Ghc 2 every driver pays for working in the station, an amount which can develop the area over time including titling the place.
