The Students Representative Council (SRC) of the Atebubu College of Education have organised a skill training program for level 100 students
According to the SRC president, Peter Kafari Dickson, the unemployment rate in the country and the government’s inability to post students are very alarming nowadays
“In killing the menace, we must acquire skills to be able to help ourselves” he added
The theme for the training was “The Role of Technical, Vocational Education and Training of trainees in the current trend of our economy “
Trainees who participated got skills in beads making, liquid soap, shower gel, pastries, bio digesters and other craftsmanship
Meanwhile, some teacher trainees who participated in the training applauded the SRC for introducing such program indicating it will go a long way to help them
