Ghana will soon import health workers – Dr. Kofi Amoah warns

Businessman Dr Kofi Amoah says Ghana in the coming years will have to import health workers.

He says with the number of health workers the country is losing to other developed countries Ghana in the future will have to struggle to import health workers with loans the country acquires.

He made this known in a tweet talking about Africa’s challenge with unemployment when there are job openings in America and other places where they are not getting people to fill them.

While Africa is breaking at the seams with Youth Unemployment, America and Europe are hemorrhaging under a scarcity of workers

In the US, there’re two openings for every job seeker, and some companies are finding it difficult to fill vacant positions.

Adding that ” Ghana is slowly but surely losing her nurses to the UK, US, Canada, New Zealand and nobody seems to care. Agenda 111,meant to build healthcare centers throughout the country, of course with loans, will apparently be staffed with ghost nurses. Another loan to import nurses, later?
