The Paramount chief of the Dormaa Traditional Council and President of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs, Osagyefo Oseadeyo Dr Nana Agyeman Badu has appealed to the president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo to fix their deplorable roads to boost activities in the Bono Region
According to him, the bad state of roads in the region makes transportation difficult
He took the opportunity to address the president on some of these challenges when he commissioned the phase one of the Sunyani Airport project which is now open to traffic
He indicated roads like Newdormaa – Chiraa, Berekum – Sampa, Wenchi – Badu among others over the years have been ticked as roads that have either been awarded on contract for construction but keeps on to be a white elephant and even now serving as death trap
He therefore plead with the president and the roads minister to work hand in hand to complete this abandoned road project
