Chief Executive Officer of the National Identification Authority, (NIA) Prof. Ken Attafuah says, Ghanaians in the diaspora will get their Ghana card at a cost of US$50 for the registration.
According to him, the laws of the land says, every Ghanaian must acquire the Ghana card and that is what they are doing.
‘Every day, somebody will turn fifteen years (15) and therefore convenient to manage the number because it is a decision taken by management’, he said.
Speaking to the media concerning the registration and its brouhaha, the CEO mentioned that, they are starting the under fifteen Ghanaians registration in September if they get all the necessary equipment.
