Transfer News: Sudanese Giants Al Hilal Show Interest In Three Asante Kotoko Players

Sudanese champions Al Hilal has officially requested for the services of Asante Kotoko trio, Imoro Ibrahim, Ibrahim Danlad and Georges Mfegue, according to reports in the local media.

The trio were outstanding for the Porcupines in the recently-ended Ghana Premier League season, helping the Reds to clinch the 2021-22 league title in style.

Mfegue grabbed eight (8) Premier League goals with five (5) assists in 26 games to emerge as second top scorer of the Porcupines after Etouga who netted 21 goals. The 24-year-old’s performance since joining the Porcupines has been a thing to contest for by several clubs across Africa and Europe.

Imoro, 22, also enjoyed a roller coaster campaign for the Porcupines, scoring two goals and providing eight assists in 27 appearances for the most successful Ghanaian club.

Whereas goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim who kept the post 20 times for the Porcupines. It is reported that Al Hilal has proposed $10,000 monthly salary each for the trio.

According to the reports, Al Hilal have already sent their offer for the duo to the club and are currently on the negotiations table. Hilal are also believed to be in talks with coach Prosper Ogum for a potential move.

With Kotoko set to participate in the CAF Champions League next season, it remains to be seen if they will let three of their prize assets go.
