For the second year in a row, Asante Kotoko will travel outside of Ghana for pre-season training.
The Porcupine Warriors announced their pre-season tour of Turkey on Monday, during which they will play several clubs from the European country.
Before the start of last season, Kotoko trained in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and it paid off as they won the Ghana Premier League, dethroning their fierce rivals Hearts of Oak.
Management has decided to travel to Turkey this time to prepare for what is expected to be a demanding 2022/23 season.
They will be in Turkey for 15 days, as the pre-season begins on August 15 and ends on August 30.
Kotoko has set its sights on defending its league title, winning the MTN FA Cup, which eluded them last season and qualifying for the CAF Champions League.
The new season is expected to start in September.
