Son of the late AB Crentsil, has rubbished rumors surrounding the cause of the death of the great legend- his father.
He also denied that his father was bed-ridden for years until his untimely death.
Alfred Benjamin Kweku Crentsil Junior said, the family heard a lot of rumor’s that their father has been bed-ridden for years culminating in his death.
Crentsil Jnr was speaking in an interview with Ahotor 92.3 fm when the Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGA and Ghana Music Right Organization (GHAMRO) paid a visit to the family of the late Alfred Benjamin Crentsil at their residence in Tema community 9
He disclosed that, his father was very strong and even joined them to celebrate his birthday on May 22nd 2022 and was supposed to leave the country In June
‘ He collapsed and was declared to have had a stroke when he went to the American embassy for his visa” he said.
He further added that the death of the father was a great shock as no one expected such a strong man to join his ancestors.
‘The family has lost a personality they cannot replace in any way.’ He added in tears
On behalf of the family, he gave their condolence to all Ghanaians mostly their father’s fans
Meanwhile, the leadership of MUSIGA and GHAMRO promised the family their support from now till the legend AB Crentsil’s body is laid to rest in peace
