MP for Ada Constituency, Hon Doryo Cudjoe Ghansah has added her voice to the ordeal which happened to Suame lawmaker, who double as the Minister in charge of Parliamentary affairs, Hon Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu over unfulfilled campaign Promises and the agitations by some Aggrieved residents of the area.
In reaction to the development, Hon Doryo Cudjoe Ghansah, said though she doesn’t know what actually led to the supposed manhandling of the MP, it is important to appreciate that, the people have the right to demand for a fair share of the national cake and if that doesn’t happen it can lead to serious mistrust and agitations.
” The People will beat you if you don’t deliver your promises” she stressed!
The deputy Minority chief whip, admonish her colleagues in Parliamentary to take their constituents serious and deliver promises made to them during and after political campaigning.
Disgruntled residents in the Suame Constituency of the Ashanti region poured onto the streets on Monday and accused and almost pounced on their mp Hon Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu for doing little especially on dilapidated and UN motorable roads network in the area, which they have complained severally but to no avail. A viral video captured scores of enchanted Youths in the Suame Constituency pelting pure water at their MP.
