George Kwabena Adu, known publicly as Kwabena Kwabena, has regretted ever involving himself in politics.
Although he campaigned for President Akufo Addo in 2008 said the president he knew before has changed. He was the only President who gained massive support from most of the creative art industry, however, they are disappointed in the president.
According to the award-winning highlife artist, Politicians are heartless, insensitive, and wicked people who care nothing about their fellow humans.
“Pick someone who claims to be serving the country and look at their benefits. We [the hcountry] even pay their DSTV bills for them. Such a developing country!
“Count the number of ministers we have; count the number of government officials we have. They don’t buy fuel. They are very insensitive. And go and check their salaries. They are paid even more than civil servants. They are very wicked people. Per my research, they are heartless people,” he fumes.
Kwabena Kwabena, who has been campaigning for President Akufo-Addo since 2008 said President Akufo-Addo he knew before has changed.
“Trust me, the candidate I campaigned for (Nana Akufo-Addo) was very confident and you could even tell from what he had achieved, but after he assumed office, the kind of partisan political structures spoiled everything,” he noted.
He further blamed the current economic predicament on the 1992 Constitution of Ghana and the two political parties (NDC and NPP) who have been ruling the nation since the inception of the 4th Republic.
