American – Ghanaian hip-hop rapper, Rasbobo has clearly stated that his latest single dubbed ‘Cocaine’ was birthed from recent media reports about his engagement in drugs. The artiste in an interview on the Open Box Show on Ahotor 92.3 FM with Mr. Foreal has refuted claims that he was involved in drugs as media reports have carried it.
‘I released ‘Cocaine’ because I wanted to demystify earlier reports which is a calculated attempt to dent my image’ he said.
‘I have come far in the music industry, playing shows in the US and Mexico. I have worked hard enough to make money, recalling when I was ejected from my apartment and had to sleep in my car for 3 months added.
The Rapper and Mechanical engineer advised bloggers and writers to be circumspect in their reportage so as to create a fair ground for industry players to entertain fans devoid of saboteurs.
‘We have a young music industry and I encourage industry players to support their own, particularly hip-hop artistes to promote the Ghanaian music industry globally’ he explained.
