Upper Manya MP supports school project at Akatawia

The Member of Parliament for Upper Manya Constituency, Bismark Tetteh Nyarko has supported an ongoing school project at the Akatawia township

To ensure children from his constituency get the best of education, Hon. Tetteh Nyarko donated some building materials to fast track the building of the school project

The Akatawia township is made up of five communities; Akatawia, Obisua, Ada-Narh, Mimpeasem and Maahem are undertaking a JHS project.

Speaking to a gathering of some stakeholders in the community after the donation, he reiterated the importance of communal labour in developing the Constituency.

He also pledged to use the Assembly Common fund for the benefit of all and also explained why portable water wasn’t available in Akatawia and other adjoining communities and the efforts he has put in place to ensure they get portable water

“I have lobbied with  the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) to drill mechanized boreholes at Akatawia, Plekumase, Kwaopenase and Anyensu-Kperti”

The DCE, Hon Joe Sam also present at the gathering admonished members of the communities to embrace communal labour to enable development

He asked them not to be divided by politics and also thanked the MP for his assistance to the school by providing them with the quantity of roofing sheets and nails to complete the project
