NDC National Chairman wishes Black Stars best of luck As he meets Amartey and Partey in a plane.

The Black Stars opened camp in Cape Coast on Saturday, May 28, 2022, ahead of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations Cote D’Ivoire 2023 qualifiers against Madagascar and Central African Republic.

The Black Stars will take on Madagascar in a Group E encounter at the Cape Coast Stadium at 7pm on Wednesday, June 1 before playing Central African Republic four days later.

Ghana coach Otto Addo has called up 33 players for the crucial qualifiers.

With the players reporting to camp from their various clubs, Arsenal’s Thomas Teye Partey and Leicester City’s Daniel Amartey met the National Chairman of the NDC, Dr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo in the plane they were both travelling with to Ghana.

The National Chairman of the NDC was returning to Ghana from a trip abroad while the Black Stars players were reporting to camp.

Dr. Ampofo used the opportunity to wish the two players together with their team mates the best of luck.

He urged them to make Ghana proud by beating both Madagascar and the Central African Republic and should fight against all odds to go for the ultimate in the upcoming World Cup in Qatar later this year.

Ghana will host Madagascar on June 1, will face Central African Republic four days later before taking on Japan on June 10 in the Kirin Cup semi-final in Japan.
