‘Consider the economic crisis and extend deadline for students’ –William Boadi pleads with KNUST Board
Executive Director of Educate Africa Institute, William Boadi has called on the Board of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) to consider the hardship currently the country is going through and extend the deadline of the 6,000 students who have been forced to defer their courses.
The school, earlier on published its intention to defer the courses of some students who have not settled their fees on grounds of using the amount to buy cars, trading and betting.
But Mr. Boadi is of the view that not all had gotten the money and misused as reported but, some have genuinely not gotten the said amount.
In his interview on Ahotor FM’s morning show Adekye Mu Nsem, Mr. Boadi called on government to step in as a matter of urgency as the school is a public institution.
