On the floor of parliament on Tuesday 22, 2022 the member of parliament for Ayensuano, Nana Yaw Teddy Addi had the opportunity to speak on the construction of the 40 bed capacity hospital in Ayensuano district
In an interview on Simpieso hosted by Emmanuel Martey, Alaska De Don, he expressed joy as the loan for this project has been approved
He indicated that, “it is my hope that the good people of Ayensuano whose interest I represent in the house will be happy to witness the implementation of this project successfully”
According to him, the major need of his constituents is a hospital since what they are managing at the constituency is not fit for even a clinic
He stated that, patients always have to be referred to either Suhum or Nsawam which sometimes leads to loss of life even before they get there
“Many deaths could have been prevented if we had a better health facility to cater for our health needs”
“To the Glory of God, it is a great day for me and the people of Ayensuano”
