The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) has called on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to introduce government – parent cost sharing arrangement for the Free Senior High School Policy to save cost.
According to statement issued by the IEA signed by the Director of Research, Dr. John Kwakye,such move will help the country during these difficult times.
He also called on the government to reduce the number of ministries to 20 and reduce the number of ministers from 86 to 56 including the 16 regional ministers.
He stated that an optimum size of 56 ministers would be okay to rule the country.
