Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta has presented the 2017 Budget Statement which happens to be his maiden one in Parliament.He announced major tax cuts in line with promises the NPP made ahead of the 2016 elections. In some cases the government has completely abolished some taxes introduced by the previous Mahama administration.
