Yesterday, the Sports minister Hon. Mustapha Ussif officially secured an accident insurance cover for the 41-man delegation of the Black Stars to the AFCON with GLICO.
The 2,050,000.00 package will cover the team for the entire duration of the AFCON tournament in terms of any unfortunate incident.
GLICO also used the occasion to donate an undisclosed amount to the Black Stars, as they commence their quest to end the nation’s 40-year wait for the AFCON trophy.
