Mali are in advanced negotiations with Olympique Lyon striker Moussa Dembele (25) to get him play for them at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations and the World Cup play-offs.
The Frenchman is yet to earn a call-up at the senior side however, Dembele has played for the France youth teams; U16, U17, U18, U19, U20 and U21.
Developed at Paris Saint-Germain, Dembélé made his professional debut for Fulham in the Premier League in November 2013. He scored 19 goals in 64 matches for Fulham before joining Celtic in 2016.
He has scored 4 goals in 6 games this term in the Ligue 1.
