Hearts of Oak will play Algerian side, JS Souara in the CAF Confederation Cup playoff following the draw held on Tuesday morning.
The draw was live on CAF digital platforms and was conducted at the continent’s football governing body’s headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
The Ghanaian champions will face Jeunesse Sportive de la Saoura ((JS Saoura) in a play-off to qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup group stage after they crashed out of the CAF Champions League at the second qualifying round against Moroccan side Wydad Athletic Club.
The Phobians were walloped 6-2 on aggregate following a 6-1 mauling in Casablanca.
The first leg of the tie against JS Sauora is scheduled for November 28, 2021, in Accra, while the return leg is scheduled for December 5, 2021, in Algeria.
