AWCON 2022 : BLACK QUEENS TO LOCK HORNS WITH SUPER FALCONS ON WEDNESDAY.

Ghana female national team , black queens to play against the super falcons of Nigeria in the first leg encounter on Wednesday 20, October at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos, Nigeria.

Black queens will welcome the super falcons of Nigeria at the Nations Wembley , Accra sports stadium for the return league encounter on Sunday 24, October 2021.

The winner of these two matches will progress to the final round of the qualifiers  where they will meet the winner of the Niger – Cote D’Ivoire for African women’s Nations cup  competition (AWCON)  Morocco 2022.

The deputy captain  Fafali Dumehasi said , They have trained enough and their dream is to qualify for the next stage and to the world cup so they are going to Nigeria to play their hearts out so that they can bring victory home.
Fafali Dumehasi is the assistant captain and also the goalkeeper for black queens and also the goalkeeper for police ladies in the women’s premier league.

Head coach Mercy Tagoe also added , They prepared towards the AWCON qualifiers and by God grace they had the opportunity to go to Nigeria to play the Isha Buhari cup and it was a preparation game for black queens and it has really served us a proper preparation for them.

She also said, some of the foreign base players are injured Sheriffa and Eunice Beckman and the rest are already in Nigeria waiting for them .
She said she  believes in her players and she also knows that the corrections they have made will help them to win the game.

GFA president  , Kurt Okraku also edges the black queens of Ghana to go and beat Nigeria and bring victory home.
Coach Mercy Tagoe named her squad against Nigeria  , only two foreign base players got the call – up .
