Defending champions, Super Falcons yesterday on Sunday, October 17, reported to camp in Lagos to begin their final preparations for the first leg of their Morocco 2022 African Women Nations Cup qualifying fixture against the Black Queens of Ghana.
The nine-time African champions will intensify preparations for their 2022 Women AFCON qualifying fixture against Ghana after both teams recently took part in the Aisha Buhari Invitational Tournament.
Nigeria and Ghana clashed in the Final match of the inaugural edition of Women Africa Cup of Nations in 1998, which the Falcons won 2-0.
The return leg is scheduled for October 24 in Accra. The winner over two legs will join hosts Morocco and 10 other countries for the 12th Women Africa Cup of Nations.
