Two minority MP’s in the Cape Coast North and South municipalities have warned that President Akufo-Addo should be blamed if there is any blood shed during the confirmation votes of the President’s nominee for the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly Chief Executive position.
Ernest Arthur has been rejected twice by the assembly members and a third rejection will mean the President will have to nominate another person for that position.
Cape Coast North MP Kwabena Minta Nyarku and his colleague from the Cape Coast South Kweku George Ricketts-Hagan in a press conference called on the President to desist from using invincible forces to force Ernest Arthur on the people of Cape Coast.
Hon.Kweku George Ricketts-Hagan called on the President Nana Akufo-Addo to address the situation followed by the Cape Coast North MP Hon. Nyarku who said the presence of the invincible forces is intimidating.
