The National Communication Authority has justified their introduction of an in-person verification process in addition to an online process which links an individual to the sim card.
The exercise is currently ongoing and will end in six months.
The Authority is by this, encouraging all to re-register with their Ghana card as sim cards which are not registed by March, 2021 would deleted from the data base system.
