Hearts of Oak midfielder Salifu Ibrahim has been named NASCO Ghana Premier League Player of the Season after his impressive campaign.
Salifu was influential for the Phobians after his switch from Techiman based Eleven Wonders during the second transfer window and helped the Phobians win the Ghana Premier League as well as the MTN FA Cup.
The accolade sees Salifu add to his Ghana Football Awards home-based Player of the Year gong which he collected in July.
The 21-year-old played 33 matches, scoring three times, providing eight assists and winning eight MVP awards.
He saw off competition from WAFA’s Augustine Boakye, Hearts of Oak teammate Benjamin Afutu and former Olympics star Gladson Awako.
