Anti – Corruption bodies are calling on the Special Prosecutor Nominee, Kissi Adjabeng to be independent minded and uphold integrity in his new role, if confirmed by the President, Akufo-Addo.
The nominee if confirmed replaces Martin Amidu who quit the office on grounds of political interference and lack of resources last year.
Former Executive Director of the Ghana Integrity Initiative, Vitus Azeem noted his credentials in law, however, that may not be enough for the occupier of the office, and would need to be bold, unbiased and non-partisan.
