The Elections Committee of the Ghana Olympic Committee has set Monday March 1st 2021 as the deadline for the filing of nominations for elections unto the executive board of the Ghana Olympic Committee.
Nominations for all positions have been opened effective February 22nd 2021 as part of a roadmap for the elections lined up by the committee and to elect new members for the various positions.
The committee will after a review of all nominations publish a list of all eligible contestants on March 9, 2021 alongside a full list of delegates eligible to vote in the elections which is scheduled for March 15.
The elections will be keenly contested as Ace broadcaster and General secretary of SWAG Charles Osei Assibey will battle it out with the incumbent Ben Nonoo Mensah for the presidential position.
