Al Merrikh signs three players in one week
Sudanese giant Al Merrikh SC have reached agreement with Moroccan top-flight side Moghreb Athletic Tetouan to sign Nigerian striker Tony Edjomariegwe (28).
Edjomariegwe who has 4 goals in 5 games in the Morocco League this season is the third player to be signed in a space of seven days.
Earlier this week, they announced the signing of Guinea Bissau international Romario Balde (24).
Balde was trained at SL Benfica and has played for clubs such as Tondela, Lechia Gdańsk, Academica Coimbra, Gil Vicente, Leixões and AEL Limassol.
The forward also represented Portugal at U19 level.
The first deal to be done was to complete the signing of Liberia national team striker Sam Johnson (27) who parted ways with MLS side Real Salt Lake in October 2020.
Johnson has also played for Wuhan Zall, Djurgardens IF, Valerenga, Juventus IF, amongst others.
He has 16 caps for Liberia.
