Founding member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Amoako Tuffuor has died.
He died on Thursday, 21 January, 2021.
He is reported to have died from COVID-19.
Dr Tuffuour was behind the school feeding programme which was started in October, 2004, under former President John Agyekum Kufuor.
He held a Ph.D in Economics from the University of Alberta.
M.A. and B.A. (Hons) from Simon Fraser University in Canada.
He was also a Professor at St. Francis Xavier University, Canada.
