Mahama didn’t start dumsor – Sam Pee

The President of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Professionals Forum and a former ambassador to India and Sri Lanka Sam Pee Yalley says dumsor was there before the former president John Dramani Mahama came to office as the president.

Speaking on Ahotor Fm’s morning show, Ambassador Sam Pee Yalley told the host Emmanuel Martey a.k.a Alaska De Don that dumsor was there when John Agyekum Kufuor become president.

“You cannot tell me Mahama supervised dumsor because we have pulled out the fact that, wayback under president kufuor some pastors were sent to Akosombo dam to pray, what was the reason for that” He asked.

He applauded the former president John Agyekum Kufuor for how he handled the energy crisis.

“Kufuor is one of the leaders that this country needs to study”

“When Kufuor was confronted with the problem, he built the Bui Dam” he added.

Ambassador Sam Pee Yalley said even though Kufuor came up with the concept but it was the late Professor Atta Mills who built it finally and it was commissioned by John Dramani Mahama but the NDC does not made claim to it.
