Chairman Ofosu Ampofo
The National Chairman of the NDC, Honorable Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has paid glowing tribute to the late NPP leading member, Kwadwo Afriyie aka Sir John who at the time of his death was the CEO of the Forestry Commission.
Speaking on Ahotor FM’s Adekyi Mu Nsem special edition dubbed Thursday Class, Chairman Ofosu Ampofo described Sir John as a politician who demonstrated that politics is not enmity.
He recounted an experience when he had to travel with Sir John, Ama Benyiwa Doe and others to have a radio program in Kumasi and the hospitality Sir John demonstrated after the program was remarkable.
He also recounted Sir John’s participation in the funeral of the NDC General Secretary Asiedu Nketiah’s mother and the love the late Sir John demonstrated.
The NDC Chairman stressed that Ghana has indeed lost a great son.
