The national Chairman of the NDC, Hon. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo led a delegation comprising national, regional and constituency executives to Fanteakwa North District Hospital at Begoro and donated PPE’S to the facility.
As part of rendering its social and corporate responsibilities to the people in the face of the coronavirus outbreak, the NDC has been very instrumental in the provision of various protective equipments required to control the outbreak.
Items ranging from goggles , face mask, boxes of soap, sanitizers, boots, 3 separate Veronica Buckets etc were handed to the administrator and the matron of the facility.
After the donation , out of humility and humanity, the national Chairman of the NDC visited some of the patients on admission at the ward and gave out undisclosed sums to some of them.
The Director of elections for the party in the constituency, Mr. Mohammed Awal Massaud was one of the persons on admission at the hospital and received a surprise visit from his national Chairman. Present were the National Youth Organiser,George Opare Addo, the Eastern Regional Organiser Kabore, Constituency chairman for the area, Mr. Amoafo Daniel aka Chairman Mayele, Awuah Laud secretary, Avadzi Angel Deputy Treasurer and others.
The visit to the ward wasn’t part of the NDC chairman’s itineraries for the day considering his tight schedules but decided to seize the occasion to speak to some patients and also wish them speedy recovery, a gesture that is line with traces of humility, compassion ,love and spirit of comradeship he always and always leaves in his wake.
