Former Member of Parliament for Adenta and Deputy Director for Special duties for the NDC Kojo Adu Asare has said, the president Nana Akufo Addo should not have travelled when the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic was first announced to the world from the Chinese province of Wuhan.
According to the former MP and presidential staffer, none of the European countries the president travelled to were open for any Diplomatic engagement and discussions or whatsoever and these the president’s handlers should have known better and advice accordingly. He however blamed the emergence of the diseases in the country on the president making revealing, two of those who first tested positive of covid-19 were part of the president’s entourage thus, calling the entire sojourn by the president frivolous.
The former Member of Parliament was speaking on Yepe Ahunu on Accra based AHOTOR 92.3 FM hosted by Kakeeku.
