Day 5 of Partial lockdown – Excesses
A 32 years old man ( name withheld) residence in Ashaiman, a suburb of Greater Accra, is reported to have been shot dead by a soldier on sunday, according to a source.
www.Ahotoronline.com has captured that the deceased according to eyewitness account he is mentally incapacitated. Reports confirmed that he supposedly engaged in a heated exchange of words with the said soldier, after the uniformed officer ask him to explain his mission outside of his home, in view of the stay home protocol. And In an attempt by the deceased to provide answers to the military man, the soldier pointed a gun at him, and ended up shooting through the throat of the decease.
The allege shooting incident bystanders said, took place at the Ashaiman traffic light, around 2:45pm, on sunday.
About 100 military men alongside police officers on duty are currently at the crime scene , and the body of the deceased has since been conveyed to an unknown hospital.
