Fire destroys an abandoned chip compound in AtimAtim in the upper west Akim district of the Eastern region .
Residents expressed disappointment over the situation ,stating that, the CHP centre was built under the erstwhile Mahama Administration and had remained not commissioned.
Their hopes are now dashed since the facility has now been destroyed by fire.
The disappointed residents are now faced with series of health implications and authorities cared less about commissioning the facility .
Residents who spoke to Ahotor fm news correspondent Eric Nyarko, said the government and other organizations should come to their aid immediately before they all die , become the absence of the facility put them in much disadvantage.
