Asene Manso Akroso District in collaboration with the Action Against Rural Poverty (AARP), a n Agona Swedru-based Non Governmental Organisation, in the central region have provided two bore hole water projects for the people of Atiankama Camp and Teacher Atta community in the Eastern region.
The project is expected to eliminate the burden of water supply during dry season as their only source of water is an old well that was constructed over 60years ago.
The District Chief Executive of Asene Manso Akroso District, Alex Incoom speaking to Ahotor fm’s Eastern Regional Correspondent, Eric Nyarko explained that, the Assembly is in touch with organizations to ensure development within the district.
The Chief Executive Officer of Action Against Rural Poverty, Madam Afia Kwatimaa Yamoah disclosed her organization’s intention for other projects for the communities.
