Ghanaian gospel musician and police officer Kofi Sarpong has taken to social media to express his gratitude to God for how far He has brought him, while encouraging believers to remain steadfast in their faith.
In a heartfelt message shared with his followers, the gospel musician reflected on his journey and acknowledged that the road has not always been easy. However, he said his continued trust and belief in God have kept him going.
Quoting the popular Christian hymn “Trust and Obey,” Kofi Sarpong emphasised the importance of trusting God as the foundation for finding true happiness in Christ.
He wrote:
“Trust and Obey, for there is no other way to be happy in Jesus. I’m thankful to the Lord for bringing me this far. The journey has not been easy, but we kept trusting and believing in the ways of the Lord.”
The musician went on to encourage anyone going through difficult times not to give up on God. Drawing from his own experience, he reminded his followers that God is capable of turning situations around.
“I encourage you not to give up on the Lord; if He has done it for me, He can do the same for you also. Amen 🙏”
