The Ghana Football Association has officially set Thursday, August 20, 2026, as the date for its 32nd Ordinary Congress, to be held at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram. The annual statutory gathering, convened in accordance with Article 31(2) of the GFA Statutes, will bring together key stakeholders from across Ghanaian football to review the state of the game and chart its future direction.

This major platform for reflection, planning and decision-making ahead of the new football season is expected to focus on competitions, development programmes, governance and the overall strategic direction of the sport. Members of the Association have already been notified to allow adequate preparation, and a formal convocation containing the agenda, activity reports, financial statements and auditors’ report will be circulated in advance.

The full-day meeting will also enable the Executive Council to engage directly with club representatives, technical officials and other stakeholders, reviewing progress achieved while addressing ongoing challenges. The GFA has urged all delegates to prepare thoroughly for productive discussions as the Association continues its efforts to strengthen and develop football at every level in the country.
