Mr. Obed Kuvedzi, a long serving member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Krowor Constituency has avowed his readiness to help build the party through effective communication as he contests for the constituency’s deputy communication officer.
He made this statement when he picked his nomination at the constituency office on Tuesday 8th May, 2018.
“If I am elected, I would make a covenant with you the people of krowor and that of Greater Accra to always do right and bring all my expertise on board to minimize the communication barrier which has bedeviled the constituency. I hereby seek your support to make this a reality” He made this known through a press statement.
He further declared his eagerness to work hard with other constituency executives to help regain power from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2020 election in both the constituency and National levels.

Dear comrades, in 2016, our Great party NDC lost the general election in a bizarre manner to the NPP. Since then, our party has being in the process of reorganization. For months now, I have been approached by many of our cherished party members in krowor to make my intentions on whether I will want to contest for any position in the party known. I declined to do so at the time largely because that could have disrupted our reorganization process.
Today, I confirm that after wide and thorough consultation spanning the twelve geo- political wards that make up krowor, with members of my family, my party and other groups, I Obed Kuvedzi by the grace of God hereby offer myself and my service to the people of krowor as a candidate for the office of the deputy communication officer in the forthcoming constituency election.
In presenting myself for service, I make no promise that I have a magic wand that will solve all of krowor’s problems.
What I do promise is this – If I am elected, I would make a covenant with you the people of krowor and that of Greater Accra to always do right and bring all my expertise on board to minimize the communication barrier which have bedeviled the constituency.
I hereby seek your support to make this a reality.
