Hollywood actor George Clooney and his wife, renowned human rights lawyer Amal Clooney, have been forced to evacuate their home in southeastern France as wildfires swept through the region.
Authorities ordered precautionary evacuations after the fast-moving blaze, fueled by extreme heat, dry vegetation, and strong winds, threatened nearby communities. Firefighters have been working tirelessly to contain the flames and protect homes and lives.
The Clooneys were among hundreds of residents asked to leave the area. According to reports, the couple evacuated safely, and there have been no reports of injuries involving the family. The extent of any damage to their property has not yet been determined.
The wildfires have displaced hundreds of residents, prompted road closures, and kept emergency warnings in effect across parts of southeastern France. Although some evacuees have since been allowed to return, firefighters remain on high alert as hot, windy conditions continue to pose a risk.
Officials are urging residents in affected areas to follow evacuation orders and monitor official updates as emergency crews continue efforts to bring the fires under control.
