Debibi United Have the Financial Strength to Compete in Ghana Premier League – CEO Richard Ntow Gyan

Chief Executive Officer of newly promoted Ghana Premier League side Debibi United, Richard Ntow Gyan, has expressed confidence in the club’s financial stability, assuring supporters that the team has the resources to compete successfully in the upcoming 2026/27 season.

Speaking in an interview with Ahotor FM’s Ahotor Agorkansie, Mr. Ntow Gyan acknowledged that the club is making significant financial investments to renovate its home stadium to meet the Ghana Football Association’s Club Licensing Authority requirements. However, he stressed that the project will not compromise the club’s ability to compete in the top flight.

“We are renovating our home venue to meet the Club Licensing Authority requirements, and that is taking a lot of resources,” he said. “But I can assure everyone that we have enough financial strength to sustain the club in the Premier League.”

The Debibi United CEO added that the club’s management planned adequately for life in the Ghana Premier League and remains committed to ensuring the team is competitive both on and off the pitch.

Debibi United secured promotion to the Ghana Premier League after an impressive campaign and are now preparing for their maiden season in the country’s top-flight competition.

The club hopes its investment in infrastructure and squad development will provide a solid foundation for a successful debut season.
