The Vice chairman and director of elections of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo has stated that the party is ready for the 2020 elections, According to him modalities has been put in place to unseat the NPP government.
Speaking on Star Chart with Bola Ray, Ofosu Ampofo stated that the party has started registration of its members at the various branches.
“There is excitement among party faithful all over the country and the exercise is going on smoothly, we have even developed an electronic App for dues payment”
He continued by stating that there is unity in the party but there may be little misunderstanding due to the registration processes from the branch, constituency, regional and to the national level. This according to him normally occurs in every political party in the country.
Speaking about his relationship with former president Mahama, the vice chairman stated that he is in a good relationship with him and was privileged to have worked under him.
“We have been working together from the first day we entered parliament and I have enjoyed working together with him”
Ofosu Ampofo admonished all party members to use the opportunity and register at the various branches.
