Management of the Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) has indicated that their offices will remain open during the Christmas festivities.
“In our bid to continually serve you to the best of our ability, we wish to inform you all that our revenue collection centres, district offices, and production plants will be working as usual during the festive period,” a press statement by GWCL PRO Stanley Martey stated on Wednesday, December 20.
GWCL was quick to add that: “Customers are also being reminded that the revenue mobilization exercise is ongoing. As a result, the special disconnection teams, with the mandate to do on-the-spot disconnections of water services to defaulting customers, are still visiting the premises of customers who have failed to settle their bills in full”.
GWCL indicated that all persons found to have engaged in any anti-social malpractices against the company will be handed over to the law enforcement agencies for prosecution as they encouraged customers to “pay your bills promptly to enable GWCL serve you better”.
